JUSTA

by Teresa Villaverde

synopsis

Portugal 2017, great fires destroyed forests and killed children and adults, both in the villages and in the cars, trapped on the highways. The case had a worldwide repercussion. The film's action does not take place in 2017, however, but rather some time afterwards. It accompanies a little nucleus of people who have lost their near and dear and are now in the process of learning to live after everything that happened. Justa is a fiction generated by these events, and it reminds us that many events in life cannot be understood by those who have not experienced them.
