7 DAYS IN JUNE
synopsis
On the night of June 6, 1944, Major Johnston and American paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division landed far from their intended zone and arrived in the Norman village of Graignes. With the help of the locals, they decided to organize a defense while waiting to join the Allied troops that had landed on the beaches. But the German threat grew with the arrival of Wehrmacht soldiers and then an SS regiment. Johnston began to doubt his decision to stay, while Martin, a villager, tried to protect his son Joseph, who was determined to participate in the liberation of his country despite everything.
