PIERNIKOWE

by Piotr Wereśniak

synopsis

It smells of cinnamon, resonates with laughter, and warms the hearts of even the most quarreling characters. Justyna and Czarek return with their son to their family home in Toruń, where they face not only a confrontation with the past but also a chance for a new beginning. Dagmara tries to fulfill her deceased father's dream of opening a café, although life constantly throws obstacles in her way. Samanta and Paweł, neighbors with temperaments, bring to the puzzle a wealth of color, energy, and unexpected twists. It's a film about family, love, and second chances. About how, even when everything falls apart, the holidays can glue together what's most important. Because at Christmas, anything is possible—even a miracle.
