NA HORÁCH

by Rudolf Havlik

synopsis

A romantic comedy about an unexpected encounter and self-discovery in a beautiful mountain landscape. The story follows Lucie, a young woman from the city, who unexpectedly inherits a mountain chalet from her estranged father, Karl, the former chief of the mountain rescue service. Lucie arrives in the mountains with the goal of quickly settling the inheritance, but instead of an empty cottage, she finds chaos - the chalet is inhabited by rescuer Matěj, his dog Bedřich and other residents who manage the chalet as a hostel for outdoor schools. Lucie has to deal not only with the unknown world of the mountains, but also with Matěj's sarcastic attitude and challenges that gradually force her to overcome her own limits. Comical situations, mountain rescue operations and crazy misunderstandings lead to an unexpected rapprochement between Lucie and Matěj. Although Lucie initially struggles with the harshness of the mountains and Matěj's cynical humor, their relationship gradually turns into friendship and perhaps something more...
