HUGO

by Pascal Bonitzer

synopsis

Haunted by Victor Hugo, actor Robert Zucchini carries a gentle melancholy when he is not on stage. Every evening, he plays to sold-out theatres, sharing his love of words. Until the day his daughter reappears, whom he never saw grow up… And what if, for once, loving were better than admiring?
