IO+TE
synopsis
Io+Te recounts the meeting between two distant worlds that attract, repel and transform one another. She is Mia, 36, a successful gynaecologist, independent, allergic to steady relationships, used to treating love as an experience to be consumed and left behind. She loves experimenting, changing, not getting tied down. Her work is orderly, methodical, and for that very reason, in her private life she looks for the opposite: new emotions, no-strings encounters, stories that make no claim on the future. He is Leo, 26, a poet by nature, allergic to social media, in love with music and all things authentic, with a vision of love that seems to belong to another era. Their meeting comes about almost by chance, in a bar, interrupting an ordinary date. From there, an overwhelming, unconventional relationship takes shape, built on passion, complicity and sharing. But, as often happens, falling in love is only the beginning. When reality bursts in, with its burden of responsibilities, fears and questions, everything changes.
