synopsis
Thousands of kilometres of fibre-optic cable glide from the ship’s deck into the dark depths of the ocean. The crew drifts in isolation, their phones a fragile connection to home. The cable reaches a remote community in Alaska, where hopes for a bright future meet fears of dystopian change.
