In Pamela Tola's film, the steel ladies Inkeri, Raili and Kerttu go on adventures as if it were their last day. While at the reception, Inkeri overhears a doctor telling a nurse around the corner that there is no more time to live or hope. Inkeri's daughter Maija takes on the task of providing her mother with end-of-life care, even if by force, but Inkeri has other plans. As her last act, she plans to save Maija from repeating the mistakes she made and then throw herself into the Arctic Ocean forever. Inkeri escapes from the nursing home on her last journey with the steel ladies and Mati, who has joined her on the journey. Before the Arctic Ocean, Inkeri throws herself into life: painful memories, great emotions and forest adventures.
