MY DEAREST SEÑORITA
synopsis
Adela, a lonely only child from a conservative family, spends her days between the family antiques shop and the catechism classes she teaches. She lives under her mother’s overprotection and the silence surrounding her intersexuality, something she is unaware of, yet which shapes her entire life. An unexpected and tender friendship with a newly arrived priest, the return of a close childhood friend, and the sudden appearance of a woman named Isabel trigger a chain reaction that leads Adela on a journey of self-discovery, from Pamplona to Madrid. Along the way, identity will require love and the help of others in order to be revealed.
