In early 1970s Spain, with Franco's regime still firmly entrenched in society, a group of very young girls decides to play football in a country that doesn't recognize their place in sports. Along the way, they find an unexpected ally: a sports promoter as audacious as he is visionary. Together, and against all odds, they will defy the system and lay the foundation for a fight that will forever change the history of women's football in Spain.
