synopsis

In the darkness of a gigantic Mexican railway yard, Andy, a 12-year-old girl, embarks on a dangerous journey to the United States. At her side is Fernando, a 10-year-old boy with whom she strikes up a friendship forged between goods trains, immigration raids and makeshift shelters. Their goal: to reach the border and be reunited with his mother, whom he has not seen for six years.
