Hilario is a forty-year-old writer whose career has stalled. While his novel keeps being turned down by publishers, he gets by working in a bookshop and teaching an online writing course. Disenchanted with the contemporary literary scene and increasingly stuck in his own routine, Hilario drifts through life without much momentum. One night, a chance encounter with a young woman reawakens his creative drive and pushes him to take risks he has long avoided.
