THE WARMTH OF DANCE
by Pupi Avati
synopsis
Gianni Riccio, a renowned Italian television host, has built his career on loyal allies and strategic power moves. Behind his charming smile, however, lies a troubled past: in 1973, his mother Aurora, still very young, died giving birth to him, leaving him in the care of his aunt after his father abandoned them. Now, at the height of his fame, Gianni seems unstoppable—until a crucial journey from Rome to Milan changes everything. Arrested for corruption and tax fraud, he faces public disgrace and the threat of isolation in prison. As his world crumbles, Gianni is forced to confront the compromises behind his success and the lingering shadow of an absent father.
