After 10 years in Zagreb, famous writer Maksim returns to his hometown Grahovo to arrange inheritance with his estranged brother Niko. When Maksim accidentally kills a man in a car accident, he asks Niko to help hide the body. As the village prepares a celebration for the writer's return, the brothers confront repressed emotions while concealing their dark secret.
