Father and son Machovský share a small apartment in Adamov. Apart from their first name, Richard, they have little in common: the father is a retired literature teacher, the son a factory worker. After the death of his mother Renata, Richard discovers that the man who raised him is not his biological father. The only clue leads to a long-forgotten punk band from Ostrava. Determined to uncover the truth, Richard embarks on a journey to track down its former members. As he pieces together fragments of the past, the search gradually turns into a confrontation with his own identity, family history, and suppressed anger. When he finally meets his biological father, the revelation shakes him to the core and forces him to reconsider what truly makes a family.
