Margot, a brilliant young scientist in the midst of a marital crisis, disappears during a hike with her husband, Sam. Some time later, on the day of her memorial ceremony, she miraculously reappears. She remembers nothing of her life, except for her research on Mars, which she is determined to track down and destroy. She is clearly no longer the same as before. Yet Sam welcomes Margot’s return as a second chance for their love.
