synopsis
In a small Norwegian coastal town, Asle and Gerd fall in love and have a son. But their happiness begins to unravel as Asle, a sailor drawn to life at sea, leaves Gerd to care for their child alone. As his absences deepen the distance between them, the couple struggle to hold their family together.
