synopsis
On a cold night in Holmlia, 15-year-old Benjamin is murdered by 19-year-old Joe Erling Jahr in a racially motivated assault. A year later, Benjamin’s mother, Marit, faces her son’s killer in court. Through the trial and powerful flashbacks, the film unravels the lives of two boys - one loved, one neglected - both trying to find their place in a divided society.
