Six lives intersect in the chaos of everyday life in Milan, each searching for their own “perfect noise,” a signal to follow rather than surrender to emotional numbness. Ralph and Viola struggle to balance family, financial compromises, and their son Mirko’s bullying at school. Andrea, a photographer who dreams of becoming a father, is married to Andreina, a nurse terrified of motherhood. Meanwhile Alba, a strong yet fragile woman, is trapped in a violent marriage with Umberto, an entertainer in pediatric wards. Their paths cross through humiliations, small acts of kindness, and buried desires, until a chance encounter between Viola and Andrea sparks the possibility of a second chance, setting off a chain of events that unsettles all their lives.
