COME BACK TO ME, ADELMO
by Carlo Virzì
synopsis
Camilla is 14. She spends her summer holidays in a villa on the Tuscan Argentario, a favourite spot for wealthy Romans. She divides her time between diets and impossible love stories, moody friends, multi-coloured characters and distracted and preoccupied adults. Camilla is infatuated with Adelmo, a local lad hired to clean the villa's swimming pool. At the end of the summer, following a heartbrake, Camilla will finally abandon childhood to enter adolescence.
