SOUL KICKING
synopsis
A penetrating and subversive look deep inside the microcosm of the working-class and once lumpen Greek society. Takis is middle-aged, a worker in a cottage industry. Divorced, remarried and with a newborn infant. With pressures from everywhere. No one leaves him in peace. Wife, employer, relatives, friends. Violence and oppression. Verbal, mental, physical. All against one and God against everyone… The lighted fuse is just a few meters away from the gunpowder. But in the end it reaches it.
