synopsis
In a village in Silesia, a young boy experiences the passage from fear to maturity. Orphaned by his father, he will face the (real or imagined?) threats besieging the village, manifested by the figure of a mysterious, murderous "hyena" or a man with a horrendously disfigured face running from his past.
