OLÉ

by Carlo Vanzina

synopsis

The school trip to Spain of the boys of the “Giuseppe Verdi” High School of Milan. Accompanied by math teacher Archimede Formigoni and teacher of literature Salvatore Rondinella, also known as “Sasà”, they visit Madrid, Toledo, La Mancha and Valencia, with the two teachers taking every occasion to get on each other's nerves. Ten years earlier they both courted a pretty art teacher, Margherita, who was won over by Sasà's flattery, only to be dumped almost immediately. Then one evening in Seville, destiny brings together the boys from Milan with the students of a girls school from San Francisco, USA. One of the girls' teachers is the gorgeous Margaret Granger, or “Maggie”. Once again a “Margherita” enters the lives of Archimede and Sasà, who immediately compete to win her favours. And the two school groups just happen to have the same travel plans...
