THE HOUSE OF THE SLEEPING BEAUTIES
by Vadim Glowna
synopsis
Edmond, a man in his late 60s, visits a mysterious "maison", a kind of a brothel specialized for customers beyond their 80s. In this "establishment" it is possible for these old men to spend time in bed with beautiful, sleeping girls the whole night through. The girls won’t awake, they are drugged; the older men feel warm and comfortable, embracing the youth and the beauty of these young women. More and more, Edmond surrenders to this unconscious seduction, juvenile virginity and unpredictable sensuality. In confrontation to his age, bedazzled by the breath, scent and innocent warmth of the young women, he glides into associations and memories of his past life. Bizarre moments become the inspiration and urge to simply fade away next to a girl...
