TO LOVE SOMEONE

synopsis

Beautiful Lena leads a peaceful life with Alf , a man several years her senior. Nevertheless, she is uneasy. Caught up by her past, she knows and feels that Hannes, her alcoholic ex-husband, has been released from prison where he spent several years for domestic violence. Terrified and fascinated at the same time, Lena begins to look out for him in town. She sees him once, and the second time, she follows him through the streets to his home. She begins to spy on him. Hannes and Lena know that they are not allowed to see each other, but he writes her a letter in which he explains that he has changed. Deeply moved, Lena needs to find out the truth and goes to his flat.
