A YEAR AGO IN WINTER
synopsis
A woman appraches artist Max Hollander to commission him to paint a portrait of her dancer daughter Lilli and her 19-year-old son who recently died in a tragic accident. As he can only work from photos of the boy, he invites the daughter to his studio to better understand his subjects. Their interaction exposes the dynamics of a dysfunctional, complex family.
