synopsis
Sofia – born in France to North African parents – spends a happy childhood on a provincial housing estate. As her father longs to return home, she finds herself living on a farm in Morocco. She is barely 10 years old. She vows to pass her baccalaureate in order to return to France when she is 18. But life has a habit of disrupting our plans...
