CHI NASCE TONDO
synopsis
Mario and Righetto, two 30-year-old cousins, are desperately searching for their grandmother who is over 80 and has run away from the nursing home, Villa Quiete, after robbing the safe. The search is motivated by different reasons: Mario needs to hide the existence of their thieving grandmother from his future wife, Flaminia, and her family. His father-in-law is in fact the owner of an anti-theft alarm and armoured door company, where Mario works as head of the sales department. Righetto, on the other hand, is a scoundrel who occupies and manages old abandoned buildings in order to rent them at a very high price to disadvantaged homeless people from all over Italy and the world. After five years of absolute silence, one fine day Mario turns up at the apartment block occupied by his cousin, to get him involved in the search for their grandmother. Righetto lets himself be persuaded, in the hope that the booty robbed from Villa Quiete will end up in his pockets.
