synopsis

A journey through family, fear and confrontation in the violent world of 1980s clubland. Danny - a lonely factory worker is intimidated by life, depressed and battered in front of his kids - his already bleak existence sinks further into the abyss. On the verge of a breakdown he decides to fight back. He then becomes involved with a group of doormen who take him in and give him the confidence to stand his ground. As he is pulled further into their world, he gets embroiled with the local gangland boss, building to a frightening and brutal climax.
