HELLO GOODBYE
by Graham Guit
synopsis
Both over 50, Alain and Gisèle appear to lead a comfortable life in Paris: they have professional success, financial security and a beautiful apartment in the 16th arrondissement. However, Gisèle is not satisfied. She decides on a whim to whisk her husband away so they can go and settle definitively in Israel and rediscover their Jewish roots, which have until now been neglected. But as soon as they arrive, they are confronted with bad surprises and different ways of life. They discover that the promised land is perhaps not as idyllic as it seemed, seen from Paris. A new life begins, bringing with it problems!
