In a present-day small satellite town in south Poland, we find a man - by the pseudonym General - the factory director, and Teresa, his subordinate. General releases his wildest instincts, longings, and a desire to dominate and possess her. We enter a world in which our leading actors are provoked by instincts drawn from inside their suppressed nature. What is this strength which conditions their behaviour in a determined way?
