In a decaying and solitary countryhouse, Edoardoe Alice, on the threshold of the twentyfifth age of marriage, wait for Francois is arrival. Francois is a young and well known psychiatrist, called to make a diagnosis about Viola, their twenty-five-year old daughter, who lives bordering on anorexy. Little by little a family war is broken owing to the presence of the psychiatris, for the sake of the conquest of the “prey”: Francois himself. Viola, the weaker, at the beginning, does everything to turn in her favour a state of unbearable subjection.
