synopsis
Along a frontier scarred by wars, conflicts, migrations, and filled by intense silences and by sunken vitality, runs the Tagliamento, “King of the alpine rivers”. Backbone of a region which has always been a crossroad and junction in the history of Europe, the river Tagliamento is the protagonist of a story which investigates the force of nature and its possibilities of resistance, and aslo the everyday life of men and women and their stubbornness, because “water is provided with memory”.
