Xabi Molia

Born in 1977, he studied Literature at the Ecole Normale Supérieure and, in 2000, Gallimard published his first novel, "Fourbi".

In 2004, he won the Hachette Foundation Prize for his second book, "Reprise des hostilités", followed by "Supplément aux mondes inhabités". He has also written poetry and theatre.

He moreover wrote the screenplay for and directed the shorts Avec vautours (2003), L’Invention du demi-tour (2006) and S’éloigner du rivage (2007). Eight Times Up is his first feature. (San Sebastian film festival)
