Joshua Marston

Joshua Marston was born in California on 13.8.1969. Having studied in Berkeley, in 1990/91 he worked for ‘Life’ magazine in Paris and for ABC News, and subsequently lived in Prague for a year where he taught English. He then took up studies in politics in Chicago and film at New York University. In 2004 his feature film MARIA, LLENA ERES DE GRACIA was awarded the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlinale. His film THE FORGIVENESS OF BLOOD won the Silver Berlin Bear for best screenplay at the 2011 Berlinale. He currently lives in New York. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
