Lisa Cholodenko
Born on 5.6.1964, she grew up in Los Angeles were she entered the industry working as an editor on studio productions. In 1992 she moved to New York to study directing at Columbia University, where she was taught by Milos Forman, among others.
Her feature debut HIGH ART was shown at the Cannes film festival, as was her next film, LAUREL CANYON (2002). Besides making films for theatrical release she also works as a television director. (source: Berlin Film Festival)
