Daniel Monzón

Debuted with El corazón del guerrero (2000), which racked up several awards including the Silver Méliès at Amsterdam Fantasy Film Festival 2001 and Best International Film at Montreal Fantasy Film Festival 2001.

In 2002, he wrote and directed El robo más grande jamás contado and, in 2006, La Caja Kovak, for which he won the Audience Award at Lund Fantasy Film Festival (Sweden).

Celda 211 garnered 8 Goyas in 2010, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor (Luis Tosar).
