Ognjen Sviličić

(1971) is a graduate of the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. In 1999 he directed his debut feature film Wish I Were a Shark. His subsequent feature films, Sorry for Kung Fu (2004) and Armin (2007) both had world premieres at the Berlin International Film Festival, as part of the Forum programme.

Both films have since been shown extensively at over 40 international film festivals, winning numerous awards. A renowned film and tv scriptwriter and highly esteemed script editor and consultant, Ognjen also works as a screenwriting tutor at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. (www.havc.hr)
