José María de Orbe

San Sebastian, 1958. Graduate in Film Directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.

In addition to exhibiting his installations and sculptures in Madrid and Menorca, and having produced several features (Héctor, The Hours of the Day, The Blue Bull), José María de Orbe also put his name to the following shorts and experimental movies: Lifeguard (1985), Jonathan What the Hell (1985), Neon (1985) and Crossroads (2005).

In 2007, he made his feature debut with La línea recta, now followed by his second, Aita.
