Sebastian Heidinger
Sebastian Heidinger was born in 1978 in Füssen, in the Bavarian region of Allgäu, Germany. After first working as a production assistant and editing assistant, he later worked as a lighting technician, soundman and in development. From 2002 to 2007 he studied Directing for Film and Television at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). Along with directing, Heidinger also works as an film editor, writer and university lecturer. In 2007, he co-founded Boekamp & Freunde Filmproduktion along with Nils Boekamp, and in 2010, he founded neueluegen, a production platform for transcultural film. His documentary KABUL DREAM FACTORY was screened at the 2011 Berlinale in the Forum Section. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
