Hans-Christoph Blumenberg

Born in Lychen on 1.3.1947, he studied history and German language and literature in Cologne and Washington, D.C. From 1976-83 he was editor of the feature pages of the weekly news - paper “Die Zeit”.

A director and writer of films for television and the cinema since 1984, he won a German Film Award in Gold for BEIM NÄCHSTEN KUSS KNALL ICH IHN NIEDER, the Bavarian Television Award for DEUTSCHLANDSPIEL and the Golden Panda Award for DIE LETZTE SCHLACHT. (Source: Berlin Film Festival)
