Caroline Deruas Peano

Assistant director, continuity girl, then screenwriter, Caroline Deruas works with Yann Gonzalez, Romain Goupil, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi and Philippe Garrel with whom she co-writes Un été brûlant (2011), La Jalousie (2013), and L’Ombre des femmes (2015). She directs three short films including: L’Étoile de mer (2006) selected at Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes and Les Enfants de la nuit (2011) which wins the Pardino d’argento in Locarno. Deruas is also a scholarship holder at the Villa Medici, location for her first feature film, Daydreams.
