Pia Strietmann

Born in Muenster, Germany in 1978, Pia Strietmann graduated from the Munich Film School and has worked as an assistant director and producer for various German film houses.

Her 2008 short, Offbeat, won a first film prize in Munich and was screened at numerous festival worldwide.

Her filmography also includes Far Away (2001), Filmstars (2003), Neun (an episode of Black Ivories, 2004), and Martin Gschlacht, Portrait of an Austrian DP (2005). A Family of Three marks her directorial debut in features.
