Rufus Norris

Rufus Norris

Rufus Norris, currently Director of the National Theatre in London, has largely led a career dedicated to the world of theatre. Born in 1965, he spent his childhood in Africa and Malaysia. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and was an actor for several years before turning to theatre directing. He has directed numerous theatre and opera works. His debut feature film, Broken(2012), premiered at Cannes and won Best Film at the British Independent Film Awards in 2013.
