Enrique Gato

Spanish director, animator, producer. Born in 1977 in Valladolid. He lives and works in Madrid. He has worked for game companies. He began studying computer graphics in 1995, focusing on 3D technology. He is the founder and director of Lightbox Entertainment, the animation studio. His short animation Tadeo Jones won more than 50 awards, including the Goya Academy Award. His second short film based on the same character, Tadeo Jones, the Haunted Basement, repeated this success. Tad, the Lost Explorer is his first feature film in 3D. (Source: Warsaw Film Fest)
