Dani de la Torre

Dani de la Torre (Monforte de Lemos, 1975) studied image and sound in Ourense, graduating in the early nineties. Since 1996, he has worked as a promo producer for Television de Galicia, a public regional broadcasting company. Before that he also directed TV programs about sports and culture. He combines producing with directing short films, commercials and video clips. His successful career as a short film director led him to direct the TV miniseries Mar libre, which achieved critical and popular acclaim and was selected for the Houston and Chicago film festivals. Retribution is de la Torre's debut feature film.
