Fiona Tan

Fiona Tan is an internationally renowned artist working with film and photography. Her skilfully crafted and intensely moving installations explore notions of identity, memory and history. Tan represents the Netherlands at the Venice Biennale in 2009, and her work is included in numerous international art collections including the Tate Modern (London), the New Museum (New York) and the Centre Pompidou (Paris). Her first feature History’s Future premieres in 2016 at the Rotterdam film festival. Ascent is her second feature film.
