Born in 1980 in the south of France, Maud Alpi studies philosophy at the École normale supérieure before directing several short films that are selected for festivals, such as Lucas sur terre (2007), Nice (2009), Courir (2011) et Drakkar (2015). Still Life is her first feature film.
