Xavier Grin

Producer, 1957

Born in Paris. Studied Visual Arts and Film; Diploma - Ecole Supérieure d'arts visuels (HEAD Geneva); Xavier Grin started his career as a production manager and worked on about 50 feature films by mostly established directors (such as Jean-Luc Godard, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Alain Tanner, Claude Chabrol).
In 2000, he decided to become a line-producer and founded P.S. Productions to welcome foreign shootings. A new step was taken in 2004 : developing his own projects as main producer. He produced, among others: Plus là pour personne (No longer there) by Jean-Laurent Chautems and Cœur Animal (Animal Heart) by Séverine Cornamusaz (Best Fiction Swiss Film) which won several awards in Europe and opened the way to international opportunities for Xavier Grin.
Since then, he has been contributing to the vitality of audio-visual swiss production and combines its expertise with that of other European partners.
