Michelangelo Frammartino

Milan, 1968. Since 1995, he has made several shorts (Tracce, L’occhio e lo spirito e Io non posso entrare), interactive installations and videoinstallations, and the medium-length Scappa Valentina (2001).

His first feature, Il dono, was premiered at Locarno Festival and has participated in numerous international festivals. Le quattro volte garnered the Label Europa Cinemas award at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes 2010.

Frammartino has been teaching film directing at the Università degli Studi in Bergamo since 2005. (San Sebastian film festival)
